this one isn't much compared to the new computers, but it did what I could to it. I'm giving this one to my kids:

Haven't even opened the case yet, but according to the system info there are two Western Digital WD1600 160 Gb HDDs
1 Liteon SOHC dvd drive
RAM is generic DDR PC2700: 1 1024 MB, 1 256MB and 2 empty slots
OS is XP pro sp3 (Startup time is less than 1 minute from power on to get on the internet)/Red Hat Linux
I'm guessing that about 3-4 years ago this was somebody's project.
 
not bad, cheap at least.

did it come with a monitor? probly not right.

idk, i wouldn't spend money on it just cause i do a lot of stuff that needs a fast cpu.
 
An Athlon XP 2000+ is fast enough for most users actually. Id spend money on it, this Athlon XP 3000+ im using right now is speedy in XP, I can imagen the 2000+ is not that far behind.
 
I had an extra kds flatscreen monitor. It's set at 1280 x 1024 and I'm not having any problems running BF2142 or Frontlines FOW with it, but I wouldn't try playing anything with much higher system requirments. I was just surprised when I went into the bios and found cpu/dimm clock and voltage setting options. It took me all of ten minutes to set it up for overclocking. Also set up the HDDs for RAID 0 and reinstalled the OS. Startup time down to 39 seconds.
