and is it only available 4 purchase through Steam?

GMOD 10 is only available via Steam, but the older 9.4 should be able to be found and that's free.

Basically it's a sandbox game, you can do pretty much whatever you want. Pose ragdolls and make comics from screenshots later on. You can build aeroplanes, cars and boats. Anything, even cool giant robots.

Do you have HL2 and CS:S? those are required to play.

Garry's Mod 9.0.4, that's the latest before GMOD 10.
