I have a 9 year old Gateway server 7400.
The signal to the video quit. After a LOT of testing a research I found the Motherboard was bad.
Got a new board. Had a few errors but then I got it to boot up.
Running Server 2003 Windows.
Said I had to reactivate. No biggy.
BUT, Then all the sudden, It was like. Power was shut down to the backplane where the SCA SCSI drives plug into. Everything else running.
I can hit the power button and they boot back up. But just for a short time. Just long enough to see the reactivate screen.
I DID hear the power kind of fluctuate a bit also. Kinda at a loss hear.
Any ideas would be grateful.
Thanks
Don
