Gateway GT5026E

Hello,

I have a Gateway GT5026E and I was wondering if this graphics card:
EVGA GeForce 9500 GT
would fit in it. I looked around on google a little bit and couldn't find any motherboard specs. I'm worried that the PCI-e slot might not be x16. Is there anyway to find out?

Thanks in advance.

Your gateway does have a PCI-E x16 slot for that card. Here is the information page from Gateway:D
http://support.gateway.com/s/PC/R/GTModels/5648/5648sp3.shtml

The only thing that I see will be a problem is the power supply that is in your Gateway computer. It says in the Gateway spec sheet that your computer has a 300w power supply.:( The eVGA 9500GT needs a minimum of a 350w power supply that produces 18 amps. Here is the product sheet from eVGA:
http://www.evga.com/products/moreInfo.asp?pn=512-P3-N954-TR&family=GeForce 9 Series Family

You will have to upgrade the power supply also if you want that card to work...sorry. With that low of a power supply...your options are very low if any:(
