GATEWAY - how do you restore CAPs indicator?

I have a GATEWAY desktop -- model GM 5048.

I just had to have the hard drive replaced. For some reason, the Gateway Restore Disk did NOT restore my CAPS LOCK/NUM LOCK indicator. This indicator is a small screen that appears above the tray.

Any suggestions?
 
Check for drivers for your model on the gateway support site. It may be a pieve of add-on software.

Thanks -- I did as you said, but there are at least a dozen downloads for various parts of the computer (Bios, Motherboard, Modem, Netwook, etc.) -- NOTHING is specific to CAPs indicator. I'm not even sure that is what it is called - just my description.

I hesitate to download sw at random as I've just spent about two days getting everything working again -- all except this issue.

So, is there a way to narrow down the sw I need?
