That is all I know about this PC that my buddy's roomate has and I am thinking about buying. How much do you think it's worth based on that alone?

PS: Can a mod edit the title? The typo is really bothering me. Heh.
 
The question lies on why you want to purchase the computer i feel. I would say if you want to buy it just to have a back-up pc, the speed wont be much of an issue.

A p3 > 1ghz can still hold its own...although it may not be that fast since you dont know
 
I'd say about 100 dollars seem reasonable. I still have my Pentium 3 since 7th grade in my room. Compare to now, I doubt it would worth anymore then 100 dollars.
 
$100?! Oh man, This organization out here called free geek gives P3 systems out for free all the time, If they were worth that much they'd be thousandairs!

I say $25-50, no more. Basing this purely off the processor, it Probably has 256-512mbs of Pc100 SDRAM, 10Gb HDD, Cd-rom, etc.

I doubt it has any more then 256MB of RAM, but I agree it's probably only worth about $25-$50.
