Gateway WiFi Antenna?

Hello all, I have an old Gateway PC (DX4860-UB32P) I gave to my cousin to use in our dorm. Unfortunately the WiFi antenna was lost during the move and it won’t connect to WiFi at all. I’ve been trying to look up the kind of antenna that would be compatible with it; we picked up a couple from a local PC part store that didn’t fit, so I’ve been looking online. I don’t want to buy something that won’t work so I figured I’d ask here. Anyone got any leads? I’ve looked at parts lists and they list everything except the WiFi antenna itself. I’d rather not crack the thing open and replace anything because I honestly have no idea how to do that. Thanks! Can attach images upon request.

I 2nd the recommendation of buying a USB wifi adapter. The new adapter probably won't cost much more than the antenna (might even cost less) and will most likely have better wifi performance than the existing one.
