Geforce 4 Mx drivers?

What kind of drivers do I need?
I download the latest Geforce drivers from Nvida and this is what I get.

I loaded up NFSU and the road was all blocky and nasty. I also loaded up COD and the fps was super low on low detail. But when I downloaded this Nforce thing, the road on NFSU was like it was supposed to be, and COD was able to run on high with 30+ fps. Now... whats happening here?

I also have the Geforce 4 MX 440 and the drivers allow games as well as the system itself to use all the "advanced" features. By installing the latest drivers, you have enabled all the features which therefore lead to the improvement you have noticed. Always keep them up to date: http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp.

That's the card I hate Nvidia for, I have a Geforce 4 MX440 GO for my laptop (which I was forced to get in it), and that same card built in '04 comes with DirectX7?! Now that's a deal! Talk about cutting corners to get your money, this is crap. Nothing is gonna look good on that anymore, unless you play games from 2001 or earlier.

If you are unable to find the driver you need, you can also search google for "Old Nvidia drivers" and you will get a variety of sites that offer old drivers. Sometimes I've found that new drivers don't work as well as the old, depending on situation, so maybe give those a try to.
