Geforce 5200

Hi,

My friend is handing down his Geforce 5200 256mb gfx card to me (thats all i know so far). I would like to know what games this could handle and how it rates performance wise. Remembering that i am currently only using my onboard 64mb.
All help is greatly appreciated.

It will be alot better than 64 onboard, but the 5200 is a few years old

My friend has one and he can play about any game. He just cant play them on highest settings.

I have one, it played Medal Of Honor Pacific Assault beautifully and haven't had any trouble with any other games, plus the price is right.

Thank-you for your help, it has won me over big time hehe. Does anyone know if it runs Need For Speed: Most Wanted and Half Life 2?

i would imagine it could but i dont think the experience would be very smooth

When i had my 5200 fx it couldnt even handle BF 1942 Desert Combat with everything maxed....it could play well though on about 85-90% maxed.
