Does anyone know the real difference between the V6600-512PI and V6600VE-512P? Are they good cards? I've googled them, but I want to know what some real people think and more recent info... I don't game much (I'm just now thinking about getting into WoW) but my HP just has that xpress 200 integrated one and I hear it sucks :)

Basically, I see both cards on a site for $125 and the VE looks better, but I don't know the real difference.
 
Actuall, really. I don't even know if I need one with 512 or not? I just assumed might as well get a bigger one...

I really just want a decent card for less than $150.... If anyone has better suggestions. In case it matters I have an 18" Gateway FPD1830 with DVI (DVI-D I think?)...

I know the monitor probably sucks, since I've already replaced that inverter board once...
 
So you think that 256 is good? Is 512 overkill?

CAuse I can get a 7600GS 512MB for $150, which is basically the same price as that other one.

Video memory size doesn't do any think, you need a very powerful video card to take the advantage of 512MB

512MB 6600 will perform equally to 256MB 6600

So, get 7600GT and you will be more happy
 
Am I really going to need a 400W power supply for the 7600GT???

I don't even know what kind of power supply the Pavilion has.
