All in all, I'm just happy to get a working card out of the deal. :)

Agreed, but the link I purchased said it came with Lifetime Warranty.
I didn't realize this when I started this thread. :eek:

Well, here is the fruits of this thread. I'll throw it in my i7 rig sometime to see how it does in BF 2142 and Crysis, just for kicks.

I was pleasantly surprised to find it a full sized card, as the only ones I could find for sale were low profile. Nice looking card. Quiet too.It looks alot like the 7900 in my original post.

I guess I didn't think anything of it, but yeah, full retail box, all included.

I like the fact that this card doesn't require a 6pin power connector. :good:

Did you ever run 3dmark on your 7900? If you did you should run it on the 9500 GT and see what kind of difference there is. :)

Oh wait a sec I never saw your sig: The 7900 extreme computer isn't your main rig, is it? If you're not actually going to game with your new 9500 GT then it's probably better than your 7900 extreme, since it will run cooler while doing everyday tasks. :)

The 9500GT is in my HTPC in my living room right now, but I will be putting it in my kids pc to replace an 8600GTS.

HTPC specs:
Athlon 64 X2 5000+
2x1Gig OCZ Gold DDR2
Foxconn M61PMV
300w PSU (Came in Acer pc, listed next)
XFX 9500GT

Kids pc specs:
Athlon 64 4000+
2x1Gig DDR400
2x512Mb DDR400
Acer FC51GM
APEVIA ATX-CW500WP4 500W
EVGA 8600GTS

Then in that case I would be happy that they sent me something that will run cool and work well for an HTPC. :)
