GeForce 7900GS or 7900GT

If you were going to get a video card for watching movies and image quality, which direction whould you go? ati or nivada? which company and which card specifically?
 
it depends on the game..... its not the Nvidia or Ati is better. It depends which model, neither are specifically better than the other at something. I personally lean to Nvidia for better drivers, and I have always had good performance from Nvidia cards, many of my friends have had alot of problems with ATI but ive never had a problem, except when my old card melted.... but that was because it got like 130C+. (It was in a crappy compaq with bad cooling on a really hot summer day)
