GeForce 7950 GT 256MB vs. GeForce 8600 GTS 256MB

The two cards are kinda close performance wise. The 7950gt will give you a couple extra FPS but it depends on the game really.
I say get the 8600gts if you have vista, 7950gt 256mb if XP. 512mb will help in certain games or if you run a higher the normal resolution but i wouldn't get one unless the price difference is like $50 or less than the 256mb

Even the 256MB 7950GT would be better then the 512MB 8600GTS.
The winner in performance would be the 7950GT (either version), without a doubt.
