Geforce GT 430 on my old pc, and 350W PSU.

Hello, so i've decided to get myself a new video card. But i want to get one that is better than my current video card, but also one that my PSU can handle.
So now i've found that GT430 is pretty good improvement over my 9400GT, and it's very cheap, I really want it. And as I checked it says that a minimum of 300W PSU is required. Then again I saw somewhere that it required PSU to be 25A on 12v rail. The problem is I have a +12v1 - 10A, and +12v2 - 15A. So basically would that be fine? Can I run this card pretty safely with this PSU and all my current specs?
And do I take low profile one or not? Does it affect performance? Do I take one with passive or active cooling? And will 2gb be much better than 1gb version?
Also, could you tell me how to check what motherboard I have, and how to check if I will actually be able to install it on my PC?

Specs are -
OS - Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit
CPU - AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ (2CPUs), ~2.0GHz
Ram - 2gb
PSU - Fortron/source fsp350-60hlc
Atm, I have a Geforce 9400GT video card.

Well before you upgrade your GPU you'll probably need a new power supply - the Corsair CX 430 springs to mind,

You can use CPU-Z to find out what motherboard you have.

1GB vs 2GB, for that card I'd say 2GB is probably not worthwhile, so if the 1GB is a cheaper take that. If the 2GB isn't much more yeah go for it.

i would have to say yes its fine. im using a evga gt 430 with a gigabyte board and an i3 2100 with 4 x 2 gigs of ram, 1tb hd and a dvd burner, and it all runs great off of a cheap lite-on 300 watt psu. although, i know its pushing it, but you have 50 watts more, and higher amperage rating than me so thats why id say you will be fine. but to be "proper" bout it, id have to agree, and grab your self a cx430 from corsair.
