GeForce GTS 250 issue

Here is my question, I just updated my graphics card to a Geforce GTS 250, but after what I thought was a successful install, the card seems to be locking up when I try to game (runs fine on the net). My motherboard is a ASUS M4a78 Plus with a 650W powersupply.

Is there an issue with my motherboard?

You could try re-installing the drivers and/or reseating the card. If its not a driver issue though then you may just have a bad card.
