It all depends on your price range. Right now nvidia has the best video card out to the public.
And are you located in the U.S?
Do you have PCI-E? AGP?
If you have PCI-E, then i think this is your best option: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814103025
Well, the memory interface is very important. 256bit is high end, 512bit is top of the line, 128bit is for budget builds, anything less sucks. The speeds that the core and memory runs at is also another factor. The pixel pipelines is also another factor.
Before you make a buy, I need someone else's oppinion on this. Is the 7950GT faster then the x1950XT?
EDIT- NVM, the x1950xt is faster![]()
hm? What uses 512bit memory interface? The 8800gtx uses only a 384bit one. If it's the 7950GX2 you're talking about, it's actually just two 256bit interface on two cards glued into one.
Whoops, i meant to say 384bit
Give me a sec, ill find you a good card.
They are a great brand. They put on extra large heatsinks so you can OC it when you need to![]()
Yes, but it wont be out for several months after the G80 was released, so it's not a fair comparison. And there also suppose to cost alot more.well they are pretty equal, top cards mentioned above are 450-600$ ea
ati's competing car is supposed to be upwards of 25% better performance wise up its release
Depends on the card.PCI-E. Do you mind telling me if 16 pipelines is really major diff from 24? or is that getting to high in price? Like whats the most important feature on video cards iyo.
The R600 will have a true 512Bit memory interface.hm? What uses 512bit memory interface? The 8800gtx uses only a 384bit one. If it's the 7950GX2 you're talking about, it's actually just two 256bit interface on two cards glued into one.
