How much better is this card then the Radeon 9800 Pro? How does this card compare to the best cards on the market?

Oh sweet!! That's the card i'm getting on my new comp and I am a weeee bit nervous since I am not on top of new age hardware. I fell off big time when the Radeon 9800 Pro came out and I got that! Thanks!
 
The 9800Pro was a great card for its time, but the 7900GT is FAR better.

The 9800Pro is AGP only, while the 7900GT is PCI-E only, so make sure that your new motherboard supports PCI-E.
 
9800 is worse then the 6600GT....probably more like 6600

I guess something like this. I don't know all the 7000 series

Umm well, about 1 billion times better. My step-dad has the 9800XT which i think is better then the pro, im not sure, but my 6800nu pwns that 9800XT and he has a better P4 then me, his has a 200mhz fsb while mine is only 133mhz.
