Gelid tranquillo vs Contac 29 vs CM 212+

My priorities are, in this order
1) CPU cooling for better overclocking
2) Ease of installation/to remove/refit
3) Price
4) Noise

I would say my budget is at max £30; I think the awesome thermaltake frio is overkill for the low-TDP CPUs I use, and it's slightly over budget

I've read around for reviews, but they all seem to say different things. Any experience with any of these coolers?

CM 212+. What cpu are you running?

Eh, nothing ATM, this will be for my new build. Probably a heavily-overclocked G6950. Only dual-core and has a low TDP, so I don't think the heat should be too much of a problem. Could you give a reason? I've heard that the tranquillo's cooling ability is about average, but is easy to install and very quiet, the contac has great performance, average noise but is ugly and has a no-frills approach(not that I care about looks) and the 212+ is kinda a jack-of-all-trades and master of none.

The Gelid is about £24 here
The Thermaltake is about £20
and the 212+ is as low as £17

Any other reccomendations for my price range?
Thanks

I was really between the Gelid and the Hyper 212 for me. It seems like they have about the same performance but the Hyper 212 looks to have mounts for a push pull if you want the extra cooling in the future.

For the same price as the contact 29 here is another one to look at...

a bit over the suggested range but worth a look IMO.

Hmm. I read a review of that one on bit tech. Better than Gelid, apparently, but nightmare to install, according to CustomPC at least
