General Downloadable MMORPG graphics help

Just to start off, I'm really new to anything advanced when it comes to PC's. I just know the standards of everything.

So I was wondering, is there any way I can make MMO's (Everquest, LOTRO, WoW, etc.) run better and smoother without spending any money (on graphics cards -_-)?

Thanks.

you may need to build your own to pull off anything spectacular in them games. The GMA HD is about equal to a Raedon 9800 or so Dedicated. So just barely scraping the minimums on WOW.

What country are you in, and whats your budget? With this info, we can spec you a system and provide support during assembly.

I'm in the states. Seeing as I haven't done extensive research on building laptops, I'm not positive on a budget. For now I'd say around eight hundred dollars.

woa, wait a minute. You wont be able to build a lappy, especially on that budget.

You will however be able to build a desktop to do what you need.

ok, so, the following will give reasoning, and can be tweaked as needed.

HAF makes cooling easier. And it looked cool.

Gigabyte because of quality, and AM3+ so you can upgrade to the Bulldozer chips in the future. 880G is the current generation chipset, and they have a 990FX asus out that supports SLI, if you wish to do that in the future.

Nvidia was your preference, and this one is current generation, GTX for gaming performance. Its also less expensive than some others. Should power your games well.

cant beat the price for a quad unlocked. And its easy to OC it if you wish to (would need a aftermarket cooler though).

trusted brand, inexpensive. 4GB is all you will need for most apps, but you have 2 more slots to upgrade in the future if you wish.

1tb, 20 cheaper than the black, and still 7200 RPM. trusted brand.

its windows. Not much else to say. I prefer Linux, but most games and paid services need a windows environment.

as was stated, this can be tweaked, and others will be along to do that.

that processor isnt compatible with your motherboard there. You shouldnt need a the USB card either, as you will have plenty on the motherboard and in the case.

Most newer motherboards have sufficient sound built in.

Otherwise looks good.

See, I didn't know that. Thank you so much for your help, it's saved me a lot of research.
