Get on Board (talking about graphics)

Alright, I'm going to build a computer system. It will not play games or be put through any fancy graphical maneuvers, but I do want it to play Blu-Ray DVDs.

Now, I am not smart enough to know whether a Blu-Ray will play better with an enhanced video card--It doesn't seem quite the same as a 3D gaming environment, so I'm not sure that a video card actually enhances video playback.

Bottom Line: Will on-board graphics be sufficient for my uses? I don't have a motherboard picked out--I'm thinking of top-of-the-line Athlon X2...would a motherboard for that have integrated graphics capability? Do they all have integrated graphics capability?

One more thing--if I want to run the monitor through HDMI and you tell me I'd be better off with an inexpensive graphics card than integrated, would I need the graphics card to have HDMI or would HDMI on the motherboard be powered via the graphics card?

Thanks.

is this for a htpc or what? i think there is an asus motherboard with hdmi onboard that can decode/play bluray, if you actually want a discrete graphics card to take some of the load off the cpu, i would suggest the ati radeon 3450, that can also play hdmi if you get the right model, i believe
