can i just like uninstall it all or do something so every three minutes this darn icon does not come up and tell me my computer is unsafe?

how do i get rid of it??

Start > Run > msconfig > Services > Un-check "Security Center"

Wanna know a great solution?

Reactivate everything, it's there for a reason.
You're thinking about activation. He's talking about the security center, which will pop up a message saying either the firewall is off, your anti-virus is not working, etc.

I meant to say: Keep it enabled.

I know what hes talking about bc sometimes I turn it off by mistake and the bubble pops up all the time.

If you really want to disable the alerts (especially if you use other means of AV and firewall: AVG and a router for instance) do the following:

1) Open Windows Security Center from the Control Panel
2) Click on Change the way Security Center alerts me
3) Uncheck the types of alerts you want to avoid.

Theres nothing wrong with turning it off though.

I would disable it they way I said via msconfig if you dont want to have anything to do with the security center.
