Getting a G15 - Rev 1 or Rev 2?

I will be getting a USED G15 keyboard off of ebay, and i was wondering which is better - the first or second version? I would like to be able to move the LCD Panel around, which the first version can do But the 2nd version is shorter in length and i only have a small keyboard tray.

Which to go with?

If so, if you have the choice, and know it's a quality product (since it is an older version) go with the 2005 model. I've had this keyboard almost since it was released and have had absolutely no problems whatsoever. Plus, the greater amount of programmable hotkeys and the blue backlighting are just more appealing than the newer version.

But, like i said, make sure it's not in bad condition, it is an older model.
 
I like the first generation model myself, frankly because I am not a fan of the color red :)

Sure it's a wide keyboard, but it is really nice.
 
thanks for that. I think i'll get a Rev. 2 becuase i find blue hard to see at night, also my keyboard tray is pretty small.

I guess i might as well get a new one.
