Getting a new Case?

I have been thinking a long time about trying to get my computer to be more quiet. I own an Alienware Aurora 7500.. and I love it. I Know it is pretty overpriced but I wasn't able to make my own computer at the time. In it I have a ASUS A8N-SLI DELUXE, 2 gigs ram, x1900xtx.

WELL.. the one downside to my comp is the fact that it is LOUD. I am going to college next year and am hoping to change that. I have been thinking about getting a new case which would be killing a few birds with one stone: I would buy one that is specifically meant to be silent that comes with very silent, I would get a smaller one which wouldnt take up as much room (The size of the chassis now is unnecessary most of it is empty space), and lastly I just don't like the look of the alienware case itself.

So my question is to all of you: Would you guys suggest any good cases that would be good for my goal? Would it be easy to remove everything from my current computer and place it in the new comp? (by easy I mean will there be anything already glued in it?). Would I have to get a new power supply?

I don't know what cases to recomend, but the PSU simply unscrews out, so you can use the one you have in the new case.

I think Antec do some good cases, check them out.

I'm not really sure which would be the quiter one, I guess the 2nd one as it doesn't have 2 120mm fans on the front, I may be wrong though.

A friend has the Antek case and the only thing I hear is the beep on start-up and it really stays cool

Thanks for the info guys :). Jedijeff if you actually want it throw me a PM and maybe we can strike a deal !

I opened up my case and tried to examine what was making most of the noise. The PSU obviously was making some noise, but I'm going to hold onto it because it is a nice power supply and I don't want to spend a lotta money buying a new one. I could tell the side and rear case fans were making a lot of noise, so the new case will help with that.

The fan on top of the CPU heatsink was making a considerable amount of noise, so I am thinking I want to get a better (more silent one) to replace it. The last fan was the one on my x1900xtx.. which sounds somewhat like a dry cleaner. I'm going to have to put up with that and see how it turns out in the new case before I spend a lot to replace that fan.

So I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with the first case I showed you guys. Do you have any suggestions for a good CPU heatsink fan? As you can tell I don't really know much about computers.. I tried to measure it and it seemed like maybe an 80 or 90 mm? Are they all the same size? I tried to look up the size of my fans somehow in the computer, but couldn't find it anywhere. I also didn't see it blatantly written anywhere on them.
