Getting a new laptop

Hello computer forum people I'm getting a new laptop for Christmas and I'm an avid gamer and would like one that can play games pretty well. I know that I'd be better off with a desktop but I like being able to move my computer around.(EDIT: If i would be able to get a complete desktop set for $1400 and it would completely and utterly blow away any comparably priced laptop I might consider it.)

I've done a little research but I'm not exactly tech savy or really in tune with the computer world.(I know basically what I want but I figure that you guys will be able to help me)

Now on to the criteria

my price cap is $ 1400 I might be able to go higher but i doubt it

I would like it to have a webcam and a built in mic

It needs to be able to play Warhammer online Age of reckoning fairly well.

I'm open to any kind of brand as long as they have a good reputation for making high quality products.

Are there any brands that you prefer? How about HP DV7T,HP HDX16t or HDX18t? Just something to point out, as anything better than those for gaming will run much higher than your price point...
