Hi, Ive been told that this cant be done but i would like to know if any of you guys can help me, i have a exe. program on my pc and i want to transfer it to use it on a hand held mobile phone, pda or anything which is small enough to carry around, the size of the program is 250kb, can this be done or does the program need to be re-written??? thanks

I'll start by saying it can't be done.
Why?
Well, most mobiles use a processor whose architecture is much different than Intel-it's called ARM.
So to run it you would either have to rewrite it if you have the source code, which may be either hard or completely impossible.

I think you can to a Windows Phone.

Nope you can't, unless the program you're installing was made for Windows Mobile, which in that case you can.
Those programs usually come as a *.cab file and the *.exe programs made for WM don't run on normal Intel architecture.

thanks for replies, if i need program re writing what is the cost and could you reccomend someone to do it??

Take a look at XDA developers they started out with info on HTC phones and have started branching out to other window phones and androids. It is possible someone there has that program in cab format or as a file that installs from a pc to a windows phone. Somewhere in the forum there was a program to rewrite certain program types to cab format. Loads of info there for windows phones, run a search.
