getting around burning iso to disc

is there a way to put an iso on a hard drive cause ive burned it twice and it didn't work. it was gta4 on to a dual layer dvd. i then would put the disc after burning in to disc drive and it wouldn't show anything on the disc. help and suggestions greatly appreciated

if the iso is not corrupted you may have a lot of small files and may need to burn at a slower speed. On the other hand there is programs like iso buster and iso commander that will create or extract to a hard drive on the fly.
I prefer iso commander. they do have trial ver for the software.

try using daemon tools it will allow you to create a virtual disc drive and will emulate the image as if you have burnt it to disc then you can install as normal (just like you can if you had the disc)
