Getting Frustrated windows xp =[

When inside windows xp It can not read my floppy disk when pressing F6, it says "can not find large media storage device." I am wondering why it is doing that when it shows up in the BIOS. Also does windows vista come with sata II drivers preloaded on to the disk or not?

System Configuration:
Dual Cpu: AMD Opteron 250's
2 gigs memory [good]
3850
600watt psu
motherboard cant for the love of me find out, have the disk. MSI
80gig WD Raptor 10k rpm drive

As a last resort, you can low level format your HDD, (clearing the boot track, - which other methods of formatting don't do), then reinstall "Windopes", and that should work.

Catch is, when XP is first installed on an HDD, it puts a flag on the boot track. Every time it gets reinstalled it checks to see if that flag is there. If it is there, the installation goes ahead with no further issues. If the flag is NOT there, XP will put the flag there, and increment a counter by 1. After said counter hits 5, MS cuts off your online activation priviledges because they think you are using 1 Windopes disk to install on several different computers; and you have to phone them and explain that you have low level formatted because of problems, before they will activate Windopes XP for you.

Had nothing to do with the amount of times I tried re-installing, I need to get the Hard Drive Controllers aka Sata II ones. I have the drivers however the problem is when I press f6 it says "Can not find a large disk drive device" continue installing or quit installation. Does windows vista come with drivers for Sata II is my question?
