Getting HTTP 500 error on one computer

recently (aprox two weeks ago) I began receiving an HTTP error from a web page that I have been visiting for several years. I am not aware of any changes made to my browser or operating system that correspond to this starting to occur. The explanations of this error code (HTTP 500) all indicate that it is a problem with the server. However, I am able to access other pages on the same web site without error. Also, I can access this particular page from a different computer here at home. Since I rely on this particular web page to pay my bills, I would appreciate any help.

I have downloaded IE 7 and reinstalled it, and have downloaded and installed Firefox 5.0, and I still get the same behavior.

So you only get this error on the one page, with this particular computer,
with both browsers? Strange.

Next time you uninstall Firefox, make sure you manually delete all the Mozilla folders in Documents, Application Data, and make sure the Program Files folder is gone also before reinstalling. Something to try I guess.

Oh, btw, Firefox is only up to version 3.0
