Hi folks,
I recently got hold of an oldish desktop from someone, most of it is fine. I discovered someone had apparently fried the graphics card, so I tried a different one and all worked fine. I then went to reinstall the OS...
I got into the bios and changed the boot sequence so as to boot from cd/dvd first so I could start witha new install. I don't think the OS nstalled properly, but the intereing problem I'm having is whenever I boot the machine now, I can press del all I like and it just won't go into the bios. It gets to the first boot screen and then just says 'legacy keyboard detected...press f2 for setup or f12 to boot from network. Pressing f2 it then says 'loading setup' or something similar and appears just to hang there.
I've never ever had a situation where you couldn't get into the bios no mater what... :s
Any ideas? Guess I should just unplug everything and start again...
