Getting IP off msn through webcam?

if someone was to view your webcam on msn live messenger would it be possible for them to get you're ip adress, or receive your ip adress in some other way. thank you

Uhh I don't think you can use a webcam but this guide might work with webcam, I have no idea, I think that sending files would be the same sort of thing as sending webcam:

Sorry to mod if this is agaist rules, I wouldn't think it is, as IP's are pretty public things anyway.

Thanks for the response XRT. But i wasn't really looking for a program to do this with, just wondering if it was possible, however i think it is since your transfering data or something like that??

Yeah well I am pretty sure it's possible, so yeah, but TBH don't worry about your IP, I mean just get a firewall, DUH?

Btw if you don't have firewall: Zonealarm is good and free, TBH I use with AVG and Search and Destroy and I am pretty darned happy, but W/e...
