Getting New comp. Need help!

I didn't know that, so that's why you shell out more on the mobo for better SLI performance... I thought they all ran at x16. I learned something here..

Yep, i thought the same thing untill i started wondering what was different between the 570 and the 590.

I have never had an AMD, worked with them and on them.,Never owned or tweaked one... I really don't like their sockets, and I don't like the terms they use... FSB is so much more self-explanatory...

Hey, you asked "why?" :P

yea and what?

Hihi everyone :D

Uhm, turns out my brother can't help me build my computer and I don't really trust anyone but myself with this type of thing (anyone as in friends etc) so I'm just planning on buying one. Now, I have heard intel is beating out AMD on dual core atm. Also, it looks like the proccesor on this intel machine is a better and it comes with a 650i motherboard or what ever, I suppose better then the 590. Would this one be quicker and more worth the money for $100 more? The AMD with everything I wanted turned out to be $576. The Intel is $670 but comes with a quicker Proccesor and the 650i motherboard(better then the one that comes with the AMD?).

P.S. Please don't turn this into a AMD vs INTEL war.

What would the benifets of going with the AMD be in this situation? What would I lose out on?

Ok, nevermind ^this^.

It comes with a AMD Athlon™64 X2 4000+ Dual-Core CPU. At what 4xxx, 5xxx, 6xxx would it actually be worth it to upgrade?

And which of the cases would I bet best off getting without having to upgrade the PSU for a atleast 6 months?

Which would be my best bet out of all the cases on that list? I don't need the aluminum/high grade cases. It wont ever be moved around or anything of the sort. I just want a case off that list with the best ventilation and a half decent PSU that'll last me ~6 months :)
