you already pointed it out. The GPU sucks, the PSU is rubbish. You have a good setup there otherwise from what I see. I would up it to a gt520 or a hd 6670 or around there. PSU you will need a Antec, Corsair, NZXT, PC power and cooling, OCZ, Silverstone, Seasonic, or XFX.

I assume you mean antec? if so, yes.

any GPU that supports WDDM 1.0 and DX9 will support aero. A gt520 is a fairly powerful card, as is the 6670, so you will be good there. Really most of the cards will support these, I have a 8400m gt and it supports aero.

are cheap and unreliable.

Plain and simple, if you want your computer to last at all beyond the first time you put load on your CPU and GPU at the same time, you will have to get a quality unit. Do not cheap out on your PSU.

If your spending $20 + 10 shipping on a case and $5+ for a fan, look at other cases on neweegg, some come with many fans and some have free shipping.

Just to understand something. First you mentioned upgrading this system in six months, then you start talking about selling it on Ebay. Are you keeping it or selling it?

Id look at picking out a FM1 socket with a APU for about the same money, the Sempron you picked is pretty weak for the money.

Dont want fm1 because I will be getting an am3+ cpu.If I unlock a 2nd core on the sempron, or if I cant do that I will overclock it to 3.1 GHZ, will it be okay? Will it be fine without doing that?Plus, what about my GPU?

because he is not that smart. Sempron is an ok processor, it is single threaded, and not that really worth it. Even if you can OC it and unlock it, your still stuck with 2 substandard cores. AM3+ is a joke too, so good luck when you upgrade.

If you are really planning on upgrading to AM3+, get a 900 series motherboard. You won't fully utilize the bulldozer CPUs. Plus more energy efficient and higher performing.

I told you, do you listen!? I'm upgrqding cpu in 6 months. Plus, the sempron is 40 bucks and supports the new am3 mobos, now that's a good deal. The Intel I could afford now is an lga 755 which isn't supported, best CPU from that socket is a core 2 quad extreme, and always will be.

yea. Your joking I see it now.

single core SB @ $40 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116410
Dual core @ $51 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116409

This way your good up to a i7-2700k and good forward to ivybridge and you get a processor that is not years old and slow. Upgrading to AM3+ is not going to be much better than you can get with an i3-2100 unless you absolutely need 8 threads, then you can get a 2600 or 2700 and still kick its ass.

Cute. Watch your insults. I rather go with a for sure thing, than gamble on a chance of having a bum chip. But that is my two cents.

And if you want to talk about efficiency of the FX...might want to look again, its gets stupidly inefficient when you apply volts to it...its actually more efficient under-volted...calling me stupid...what a laugh.

sempron is old, and inefficient. Based on IPC, bulldozer is a joke. And fot the price it is not worth it at all. The only place they shine to me is overclocking, but that seriously increases the watt draw. So even though they can OC well, you end up with a more expensive PSU and electric bill, and your IPC has not changed, just the amount of clocks.

as for the not smart, its not an insult. he proved it. "the only intel i can afford is 775" and I proved him wrong right off. He did little to no research at all.

...So? Forum rules apply here, it may be the internet, but you should show a LITTLE courtesy. Go chew on a ice cube and cool down before typing out a insult, it just makes you look mean. Ive gotten insulted enough times on the net to know I don't enjoy it, so why should anyone else be slinging arrows? Just because someone does not research, does not make them stupid, just makes them lazy. Its easy to Google...hell that is how I found out how badly the bulldozer's wattage draw was clocked...its sad. :( That is the main reason I'm not too worried about my board not supporting AM3+, I will just grab a socket 2011 chip when I can get some money squared away, tho I could afford it with my tax return, but id like to save money </ramble>
