I was wondering how would I go aboutgetting my webpage to in a search engine? iv been doing web designing for years but never bothered to learn!

Run a search on the term SEO or Search Engine Optimization. There are quite a few forums dedicated to helping people make their sites as "google-friendly," if you will, as possible.
