Getting Rid of U3?

i just bought the 4 gb Cruzer Micro USB Flash Drive by SanDisk

what im wondering is, can i get rid of the Cruzer/u3 feature? i only want to use it as a Flash Drive.

does anyone know how to turn it off or disable the feature?

yepp, i tried that too. i did a quick and regular format and all the cruzer stuff was still there when i got done.

It shouldn't hurt anything to leave it so unless you are low on space it might be more trouble than it's worth. A format should have gotten rid of the stuff though.

A format did it for me, if the files are still there then something is wrong. You can try deleting all the files manually and then format it.

change of heart? no change i just didnt realize it had had those options. i read the box and everything but i didnt realize what it was saying i guess. thanks for the help guys.
