Getting Web Traffic

I have recently set up a new website and registered it with some of the largest search engines but it said it could take up to 6 weeks to go onto the search.

Does anyone know any search engines which will get you site on any quicker ?

Hi, I don't know , when I put my forum on google ( or even a website ) a google bot shows the other day. It depends on users and threads whether your site will show up on google or any other search engines tomorrow or in 6 weeks ( that is to say, depending on the material ). I'm sure you can't google for something and find a forum with 2 posts. That's just impossible

And edit: There are some other tricks to make your site more popular. If your site is not registered on AdSense or some kind of company, I'm sure it's legal to use any kind of Hitters like Hitzilla.

Well really it goes in straight away, try putting it into google + yahoo.

I know it will take a fair few searches until it will come onto page 1.
