Im a little ticked off.
I got it for xmas and beat it on medium in 3 days of mild playing.
I havent bought everything but it was expensive and i feel done with it.
Makes me wanna return it and buy something that lasts longer.

Anyone else get that feeling
 
Nah. I jumped right into Hard. Doing good so far until I got to the setlist of Disturbed and such... I can beat the Distrubed song.. the others. Well... my fingers need more training.
 
Ummm.....there is something called Expert.

The difference between Expert and Medium is huge.

And if you have an Xbox 360, the online play is a nice addition.
 
I never got this, I must be weird. Frustrate your balls off trying to keep up with expert sounds like an exercise in futility. You guitar hero nerds need to play a real game, like mass effect. :D

Exactly, i beat it on medium. I got to hear all the songs and have fun playing them. Dont wanna spend hours playing over and over.

I think i specifically put NO GH3 on my xmas list. Grr my brother ruins everything. We probably woulda gotten a ps3 if we didnt get gh3 and like 5 other games and 5 other movies, none of which i will use more than twice.

Except forrest gump. Love that movie :D
 
Guitar hero isn't exactly the type of game where you play each song once and then feel like your done. If thats the way you feel, I probably would have suggested borrowing it from a friend first, or renting it. Can't change that now.

Try trading it in to like Gamestop or EB and seeing what they give you. Probably give you 30 bucks or something. :(
 
What? Insanity? It says fun and challenging when you move on to hard or expert. Plus, it's just a great set of songs. I beat the game on medium in a days worth of play. Now I'm playing hard and expert. I'm on the last set of songs on hard. I can't beat One or Raining Blood. I'm into Paint It Black on Expert. I can beat other songs after it on Quickplay so I just need to get past that song. IT'S STILL FUN PAST MEDIUM.
 
Don't sell it untill you can do Through Fire and Flames on expert with no mistakes (you'll never sell it :))

Impossible.

The whole fun of Guitar Hero is seeing how amazing you can get, it's awesome to try and play some of those harder songs on expert. You have to get really good, that is what makes the game.

Being able to say I beat Through the Fire and Flames on Expert.

Expert is the one I won't try (too hard)

Slayer - Raining Blood is the hardest song on the game, has anyone beat it in co-op mode(I have, you get new songs)

I beat Through the Fire and Flames on Expert last night on Co-op!!!

It took me two days to beat that song on Expert, but I finally got it.

I used to think I was good when I beat Guitar Hero II on Medium, then I started playing on Hard and when I finally beat it I thought I was God. Then I moved onto Expert and beat every song but Freebird. I have since then improved greatly and sold Guitar Hero II, but I know if I still had it I could easily beat it and Jordan.

I still have to beat Lou to finish my Expert career, but I'm not too good at the whole battle mode thing.

I beat all the song on medium with 5 star(the first time playing it) except Raining Blood :mad:

I have played that song at least 50 times trying to get 5 star
