Ghost in my mouse

My mouse keeps on randomly clicking, It only clicks when im typing... its so annoying! ive done spyware/virus scans and 0. Someone told me to clean it... I cant realy get under the clickers without breaking it, Ive got a laptop so maby i should diconect the mouse and use the default one and c if it does, if so well no if its a virus, is that a good idear?

Or i have a ghost in my mouse, GHOST BUSTERS! any1 got the number?
 
U Wreked my joke lol, u no engaged when u try 2 ring somebody and you cant get thru cause there talking to someone on the phone....
 
Silly Brit... over here we say "The line is busy" not engaged.

Anyway... does it happen to click when you hit a certain key or randomly?
 
I'm not sure if the touchpad/pointstick mouse on laptops can cause clicks when it get interference. I know a lot of older Dell laptops (maybe the new ones as well) had a problem with the touchpad causing the mouse to take off on it's own because the connection between the it and the motherboard was unshielded.
 
Yer i was thinking that because when i type im near the touch pad but u need hit it preety hard.... and i thought it may happen when i hit a certain key but nop it happens randomly.
 
We had a similar mess, on a PS/2 type mouse. It would jerk around the screen super fast, clicking everything the pointer happened to touch. It was random and It happened with all PS/2 mouses but when we tried a USB one, it stopped. Might not be any help, but I thought I'd chime in anyway..
