Ghost issue with sata drives

I have two identical sata hard drives. The first I use for windows, apps data etc. The second is used to clone the first using Ghost v9 (with the “Copy MBR box” checked). Ghost runs without any errors or problems.
I cannot get the second drive to boot up even if I swap the drives around.

I have tried to repair the windows installation on the clonned drive by booting from the CD but when I get to the part to select where the OS is it says that no "OS was found on that partition"

Any ideas on this – I’ve been pulling my hair out over this for a few weeks now.

Thanks

Ian.

when you have more than one hdd it's called a third party rigth?
If yes when you boot windows it sayd to install raid or third party something like that press F6 just an idea
cause I have a sata and it not being read so they told me install windows again then press F6 someone back me up on this

I have pressed F6 and loaded the sata drivers from a floppy but I still cannot repair windows on the second drive. The drivers work fine because I used tham to install XP on the first drive.
I'd rather not have to do this in the first place, Is there anyway I can clone a sata drive and have it boot up without repairing windows?

I sorted the problem by using another disk cloning package called xxclone. Its great worked first time, is only 1.58Mb and is Freeware.
Norton ghost is comming straight off my pc !!!
Anybody having problems with ghost or any other cloning software chech out xxclone here:
