Ghosting?

Is this a true statement?

The higher the graphics of a game, the more a LCD monitor will have ghosting.

I ask this because I downloaded the new F.E.A.R demo and played it on max settings. My computer could handle it, but everytime I turned my character it would sort of jump a little or flash. Like the previous screen would stay on the screen for a millisecond after the next screen was produced. I think this is what's called ghosting, correct me if I'm wrong.

Is this a monitor issue or a graphics card issue?

Oh and my refresh rate is 75Hz and I was running the demo at 1280x960 resolution.

Hmmm

Hyundai L90D+ 8ms 19" LCD Monitor - judging by what you have, the 8ms should mean that you have no ghosting. It could caused by a bug in the demo or some sort of trnasition effect. Does it happen with any other games?

JAN :D

That's what I was thinking. Nope, I can run BF2 without any problems.

Has anyone else had this problem, or has anyone else played the demo on full and not had a problem?

I think it might be because the resolution isn't a factory preset for the monitor. Their resolutions for the demo are resolutions that most newer monitors don't normally use.
