Ghosts in ya comp and robots?

ive been hearing some crazy things about ghosts in comps and robots huddling together. anyone no anything about this? or is this just common knowledge? i think the robot thing cam off irobot (yeah i know) but is this true, does anybody know anything weird about all this A.I and ghosts in ya comp? im well lost but very interested and i know i sound dumb but am intrigued! thanks all!:D

Trying to work out the correct grammar is like trying to wade through toffee...

Could it be anything to do with the science fiction idea of uploading a human brain into a computer??? And yes, I am grasping at straws.
 
ive heard that all computers that are made are not 100% perfect? and they have glitches. and what ive heard is that there are 'ghosts' thats can be on your comp and mess things up? you get me? i cant even begin to explain the robot part. thanks for even repping! cheers! you know anything and do you get what i mean? cheers!!! :D
 
jamie_2k6, you need to quit using foul language. Changing the spelling does not make it okay.

While I have not idea what 6071842 was talking about in his original post, and his second post was not much better, there is no need for that kind of language on this forum.


6071842, the reason we call software bugs, "bugs" is because in 1947 an insect was found in a Mark II computer causing the system to malfunction. And "debug" comes from taking the bug out of the system...

Anyway, as for "ghosts" and "robots"... I have no idea what you are talking about.. maybe the robots are the matrix sentinels...
 
haha thank you, thats all i wanted to find out. when i get my terminology sorted i'll be able to properly explain what i mean and im on the search. thank you.
 
The only thing I can recall about "ghosts" in computers(or anything computer related) is from the move I, Robot. I think the theory about that was something along the lines of stray data combining together to create some kind of a problem inside computers.
