GigaByte 7800gt question

I just bought a Gigabyte 7800 gt NX78T256D-ZK, the card works great. Just had a questions on the V-tuner2 program that comes with it. When I start the program it shows the core clock at 275mhz and the memory clock at 1000mhz. Does that seem low? I thought it should of been more like 400mhz core and just a slighy higher memory clock. Any suggestions??
 
well I really don't know much about the program and that card, but i'm guessing that 275mhz is the 2D speed. And once a 3D application is opened, it triggers the card and the core speed will boost up to 400mhz. But that's just my guess, you should wait for others to post.
 
Thats almost certainely your 2D speed. I would download programs like coolbits and rivatuner (rivatuner being my favorite) if you get into overclocking
