Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2PT Question

I have a Gigabye GA-78LMT-S2PT with a cheap AMD Radeon R7 240 gpu. I was wondering about buying a new gpu. It says I have one PCI x 16 expansion but I was wondering if a double wide gpu would fit this motherboard. Can anyone help me out?

As long as you don't have anything plugged into the smaller pci express port below it and your case has enough room for it, you're good.

What new GPU will you get? You have to make sure your PSU can handle it.
