Gigabyte GA-7DXR Problem

Hi, I'e got a Gigabyte GA-7DXR with a 60G hard drive.
I've used Gigabyte's @BIOS live update thing to update to the latest BIOS version (F10) but when I click on 'My Computer' my drive shows up as being only 30GB - actually, an empty 1GB C: and 30GB D:
I've just installed XP Pro so I don't mind if I have to reformat or partition or whatever (there's no personal files or anything) but I really need to get my computer up and running so any help greatly appreciated. - Thanks

Right so... Also, I'm just presuming that the latest BIOS version I have (F10) incorporates F9 also or would that be far too sensible?

i dont know what do u mean, this is what i have to say, upgrade your bios with the newest version BUT NEVER WITH BETA VERSIONS!

AFAIK the original BIOS for this motherboard wasn't expecting any hard drives larger than 30G or so.
If you look at Gigabyte's BIOS version here it says version F9 fixes this problem, I'm just wondering if the fix is included in the newer F10 BIOS version? (Hope so cos I've never manually flashed a BIOS and it's going to be a trek to find a floppy).
I'll go with the full reformat anyway, see what happens and report back - thanks.

Hi, my XP CD still only saw the 60G drive as 30G but luckily I had a SUSE CD which saw the whole drive and was able to return to one partition - thanks for the help!
