Hello All
I am absolutely clueless about computer and so please help me
A few days ago I took home a few years old computer from work as the company had decided to get rid off it. I wasn't sure if the computer work at all but after reinstalled windows xp, everything seemed fine except the picture on the monitor is really bad. A friend of mine told me that I have to install the video card driver. The problem is the office does not have the CD driver anymore.
I noticed that the video card is on-board type and the motherboard is Gigabyte GA-8IGMUI Rev 1.1. I spent a long time on the internet looking for the driver but could not find one. My questions are:
1) Does anyone have the driver I need?
2) If I want to buy a new vdeo card, can I then just plug it in and install the driver? What type of video card should I buy to work with the type of motherboard that I have? I need a cheap one as I only want to use the computer to read email etc.
If you need more info about the computer that I have to better help me, please ask.
