Gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3L Boot Block issue

After restarting my PC I ran into a weird problem. Instead of seeing the Gigabyte logo on start up I got a message saying:

"Award BootBlock BIOS 1.0"


"Scanning BIOS Image in Hard Drive"

I've never seen these messages before and it won't give me any options. Windows won't load and I can't get access to the BIOS. I've already "flashed" the MoBo, took out the RAM in put it back (I read it in a forum), and I have run out of ideas. My MoBo is a: Gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3L version F7 running under Windows XP Pro SP3. Any help would be appreciated.
 
That is weird. You might just want to remove the battery to reset the bios and then go from there. It might be a bad flash.
