Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L usb question

I need something cleared up for me. On this motherboard, it says it has 4 usb rear panel ports and 8 onboard usb. Where are they located at and how would I use them? Will I only be able to have 4 usb devices plugged in at the same time? Forgive me if this is a dumb question.:o
 
They're yellow, the small 4x2pin connectors (+1 grounding pin) under the lowest PCI slot. The front USB ports on your case will have cables that plug into there. One of the yellow things supports (at least?) two USB ports.

Ok thanks. So the most usb devices I can have plugged in at one time is 6 since the case I bought has 2 usb ports, am I right? Man, I wish I had a few more.
 
How do you have 8 usb ports and I only have 4? We have the same board. When my order comes in, I will check that out. I hope it does have 8.
 
Well I just got the motherboard today and it has 6 usb ports on the back of it:) It is revision 1.05, well that is what the cd says. I thought only revision 2.0 has 6 ports. I guess not.

I was wrong. I got revision 2.0. The cd says revision 1.05 but the motherboard says revision 2.0.
