gigabyte geforce 6600 gt problem

Hi, i have a gigabyte geforce 6600 gt agp 128 mb on a A7N8X-X but if i playing a game ( call of duty ) then i see all weird white stripes on walls tree's whatever and sometimes it freez, do you guys can help me :confused: ? :(

could be graphics drivers or even motherboard driver related. i would try updating both if possible. also, make sure that your AGP aperture size is set to 64 or 128 megabytes in your bios (ive seen this cause graphical corruption on older systems)
 
Sound's faulty to me.If none of the ideas presented help bring up a solution,just take it back and get it replaced.And if the new one wont work,then it's the mobo causing your problem.
 
Hmmmm

Seems to be that common problem with textures falling out and or freezing. That's usually a result of an overheating graphics core. I would have it replaced. Just for the sake of it, I would have a look at whether the HSF on the GPU is firm and does not move around.

no body any ideas?!?! :(

hmm ive updatede evertything: the driver the mother board everything and it stand on 128 MB so ill take him back to the shop

Hmmm

When the contact between the GPU and the HSF is poor, then so is the heat transfer. That could explain why it feels fine. Let us know what the new card will do.
