Hi,I built my first desktop back in september 2010. Everything ran pretty smoothly, got all the stuffs to work. But when I tried to play COD4, I could usually play for around good 20 minutes or so, my pc would have splash screen and froze. So I would need to restart the pc and this happened around 2 more times. So I thought the psu wasn't providing enough power and changed my psu from corsair 430 to corsair 650. So I continued playing COD4 for few minutes and but it same thing happen. After few more attempts, my motherboard finally died on me.
When I tried to boot the pc, all the words gibberish. So I called up the Gigabyte to send my motherboard for repair,took them almost a month to do because they sent me a defective motherboard when they shipped it first time. Once I got my repaired motherboard, everything doesnt seems to be right. I had hard time booting up . As a result,I reinstalled everything and everything was back to normal. I turned off my monitor for around 6 hours and when i restarted the pc, the bootup screen becomes all gibberish again.
I dont know what is causing this. Not sure if it is my hardware or the motherboard is just not good enough. And how come when I played COD4 for few minutes and pc started to have splash screen? Is it because of graphic card issue?
As you can see from the images,some of the words are gibberish now.
My Specs:
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD2
CPU: Intel Core I3 530
Grapic:MSI nVidia GeForce 9400GT 512 MB
RAM: OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 -4gb
HardDrive:Samsung 500 GB SATA II Hard Drive HD502HJ
PSU:Corsair CMPSU-650TX 650-Watt
