Gigabyte & Newegg dumping exploding PSUs

Because of the way Gigabyte reacted to this, I've decided to leave them out of any future builds. I will also recommend to other builders I know to do the same. No confidence in a manufacturer who will not own up to a failure, or worse blame the builders and users of their failing product.

It's actually a widespread issue with those particular PSU models.

I also have a disdain for the corporate response just ignoring the issue when units are destroying peoples components and generating a fire hazard, simply because they don't want to do anything about it.

Before you make an uneducated reply like that, you should try checking out comments from users who actually bought those PSUs on Amazon and Newegg.

Plus...Gamers Nexus is well known for it's professional, reliable and thorough testing of computer hardware.
