Gigabyte Super-computer????

Does anybody own a Gigabyte motherboard???? I've never owned one, and I have absolutely no opinion on them. Let me know some horror stories, if there is any, or tell me something good about them..... by the way I was think about getting a server board... just cause I can afford it, ha ha. So does anyone have any opinions on them???

Specs:::::

Some kind of motherboard that has quad processor support.
Then i'll put a i7 quad core in each one. (16 processors )
Then a crap load of memory!
After that who knows what I will add.....

...a server board can have four separate processors. So you put one quad core in each, and you have 16 processors

The CPU's and the Mobo's. The LGA1366's are only for the desktops. The server ones are different.

Well I guess i'm going with the Tyan motherboard then they already have boards that have 4 processors. But they are AMD though....

Nothing, as most software does not even support 2 cores yet.

16 core is old school. there is already a 24 core machine you can buy see here . it has four 6-core dunnington processors.

Just because you don't need computers that require 16 cores doesn't mean that he doesn't. Who knows... maybe he has his own private server at home.
